A tied knot rendered as one continuous clay form, with no settled front or back, so it works on a console viewed from both sides of a passage. The looping body suggests something soft and pliable even though it is fired stoneware, and that contradiction is why visitors stop and look. A textured fabric shade tops the sculpture and keeps the glow gentle instead of showy. Works next to a bed, on a hallway console, or on a pedestal in a drawing room already furnished in teak or cane. The wire runs long enough to reach an ordinary three pin point. Hand built in Bengaluru. The price covers tax and shipping inside the country.
