Canista is the plain version, a straight clay cylinder that sits low overhead and asks for no attention. That restraint is useful in a corridor, where three or four in a row need to feel like part of the ceiling rather than a series of objects. In a bedroom it gives a clean circle of light without a hanging drop to worry about with a fan running. The unglazed clay carries small variations from the firing, which is the point rather than a flaw. Stocked in five sizes. Thrown and fired at the Bengaluru studio using local material. - A small Naaya logo (approx. 3/4") and serial number are embossed on the inside surface of the lamp.
- 15" and above sized lights are non-returnable
- Sizes are based on the max diameter of the lamp and not at the opening.
