A circle cut through the middle, one half set slightly proud of the other, and the result reads as a moon caught halfway through its phase. Illumination leaves through the gap between the halves and grazes the plaster, which makes texture visible in a way a flat downlight cannot. Works running up a staircase, in a lobby, or beside a mirror in the dining area. The matte clay diffuses output softly, so nobody catches a glare walking past at eye level.
