The infinity cut runs through the dome as a continuous open loop, so light escapes sideways as well as down and traces a pattern onto the surrounding ceiling. That makes it a better choice for a foyer or a staircase landing than for a work surface, since the effect matters more than the brightness. It mounts semi flush, so a low ceiling is not a problem. Two sizes are offered. Look through all the images to see how the cut reads when the lamp is lit, because photographs of it switched off do not tell the whole story. - 15" and above sized lights are non-returnable
- Sizes are based on the max diameter of the lamp and not at the opening.
