Beyond the visual joke it does proper work, pushing focused illumination down onto a chair or a low table instead of scattering it overhead. The vertical line reads well in a drawing room that feels underfurnished at one end, or beside a single seater where somebody reads. Timber and fired clay together suit homes furnished in rosewood or rattan. Plugs into any ordinary socket, so it keeps working off an inverter when supply drops. Assembled in Bengaluru.
