TABULA Linear Chandelier
Clay in rhythm. Light between the layers.
TABULA is a sculptural linear chandelier created for long dining tables and spaces that call for a strong architectural presence. Its form is composed of individually crafted rectangular ceramic tablets, arranged across three descending tiers around a structured frame.
Each ceramic tablet becomes part of a larger composition. Repeated in sequence and layered vertically, the simple rectangular form develops rhythm, depth and scale, transforming individual pieces of clay into one continuous suspended sculpture.
Light emerges through the narrow spaces between the tablets and around their edges, creating warm vertical lines of illumination. When lit, the three layers reveal themselves gradually, giving TABULA a sense of depth while casting a soft ambient glow around the dining table below.
The chandelier has presence without relying on a single massive ceramic form. Instead, its scale is created through repetition, allowing handcrafted clay to become architectural.
Available in 40-inch and 52-inch lengths, TABULA works across different dining table sizes and interior scales. The smaller version is assembled from 60 individual ceramic tablets, while the larger 52-inch chandelier contains 78 individually made pieces.
The 40-inch version measures approximately 40" L × 18" D × 15" H, while the larger version measures approximately 52" L × 22" D × 15" H.
Its elongated proportions make TABULA particularly suited to long dining tables, kitchen islands, private dining rooms and hospitality spaces where both illumination and visual presence are important.
Every tablet is individually formed in clay before being assembled into the final composition. Natural variations in the handmade pieces soften the precision of the geometry and give each chandelier its own character.
TABULA turns a simple ceramic tablet into rhythm, scale and light.
