Naaya Ceramic statement Chandelier Light - Tabula round
Tabula takes its name from the Latin word for tablet, a flat slab built to carry something, in this case, light. Dozens of small hand shaped clay tablets hang edge to edge in stepped tiers around a slim brass rod, each one glowing softly at its edges, together forming a tiered, gathered mass rather than a single shade. No two tablets are quite alike, so no two chandeliers glow in exactly the same way. Suspended over a dining table, entry, or stairwell, Tabula Round reads as quiet, layered architecture built entirely from repeated, hand finished clay light.
Why Tabula A single tablet holds very little on its own. It is only when many are gathered, layer after layer, that they become something worth looking at. Tabula Round takes that idea and builds it into light, dozens of small clay tablets stacked into tiers, each one modest alone and remarkable together
