Naaya Wall Bowl
A shallow bowl fixed flat against the plaster, offered in white clay and in the brown body most people here associate with earthenware. The bowl catches the source and bounces it upward, giving a warm arc above rather than anything pointed at the room. Placed in entryways, hallways and bedrooms, where the job is atmosphere and not brightness. The warmth of fired earth reads well against granite, kota stone and the cool grey cement finishes that have become common. Bowls are thrown singly, never cast. Turned in Bengaluru. Price is inclusive of tax, with free carriage.
