Dushala is the word for a shawl, and the outline honours it closely. A single flat piece is folded round the bulb in the manner of cloth settling on a shoulder, drawn back on the diagonal and then turned forward once more without a break. No joint interrupts that movement. Light spills from the open fold, going up towards the ceiling and down the wall at once, which is why it reads as soft instead of bright. Good above a console in the foyer, along a passage, or flanking a bed in place of table lamps. The drape is formed while the clay is still soft, so every fall differs. Tax is counted in and we do not bill freight. Made in Bengaluru.
